I’m Cody Baird—a creative strategist, designer, and brand developer based in Los Angeles. I work at the intersection of art, identity, and narrative, helping people and companies bring big ideas to life with clarity and edge. I’m currently at COOL Studio in Canoga Park, where I work directly under artist Connor Tingley, leading design and IP development across everything from original animations to brand activations.

My background is in graphic design and branding, but what I really do is translate vision into execution—whether that’s through a logo, a deck, a short film, or a fully-built creative ecosystem. I believe design should feel like storytelling and strategy in one: memorable, emotionally intelligent, and unmistakably yours.

When I’m not working, I’m probably building furniture, digging in the garden, or developing a dozen side projects that combine art, tech, and culture. I thrive under pressure, speak fluent Adobe, and I’m always chasing new ways to push creative work forward—smarter, faster, and sharper.

As an individual, I am very organized and fast-paced. In groups, I take feedback very well and when necessary, I deliver it purposefully and respectfully. I am a self-starter naturally but take direction very well when parameters are necessary. I don’t hesitate to ask questions if needed.

In a team setting, I can quickly find my place amongst everyone else’s strengths and enjoy being a team player. Vice versa I am completely capable of working on my own. I am goal driven and have been told I am very fast at supplying quality deliverables, and I take pride in that.

Design, in all forms, is important to me, it is my passion and so I approach every job or project with the same level of respect and work ethic.
